I haven't written a blog for a while because I have been in a whirl of activity moving forward with new ventures (as well as writing my next book the subject of which is mindfulness).
During this period of enforced retreat, whilst huge chunks of our lives have disappeared there have also been times of opportunity. For me one of those opportunities was being contacted by two fellow therapists. Together we have formed Wight Minds and will be offering events to help people re-discover balance in their lives through a variety of activities using alternative therapies and craft activities.
Having listened to our clients and others who have had to spend too many months close proximity to their own cupboards and fridges, we are also in the process of putting together an on-line programme for weight management. We won't be telling people to diet but we will offer suggestions and techniques to help them shed the lockdown surplus weight.
Fun times ahead!
