EFT is a simple yet remarkable technique that reduces the stress that underlies many physical and emotional issues such as..
Addictions
Anger
Bereavement
Exam anxiety
Fears and phobias
Pain management
Stuck emotional issues
Stress
The client learns to tap on tapping points on the face and body. These points correspond to acupuncture points on our major meridians. Our finger tips contain points where the three main energy channels (Central, Right Main, and Left Main Channels) meet.
In essence, EFT is an emotional version of acupuncture, except we don't use needles. Instead, we use a simple two pronged process wherein we "tune in" to specific issues whilst stimulating certain meridian points on the body by tapping on them with our fingertips. Properly done, EFT balances any disturbances in the meridian system and thus reduces the conventional therapy procedures from months or years down to minutes or hours. Further, the process requires no special equipment and can be learnt by almost everyone.
EFT Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) was developed in the USA by Gary Craig. Although Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is a fairly new Western application, the principles behind EFT have been used for thousands of years
EFT is based on using the subtle energy system of meridians discovered by the Chinese about 5,000 years ago. The Chinese application of the subtle energy system takes the form of acupuncture.
While acupuncture, acupressure and the like have been primarily focused on physical ailments, EFT works on emotional issues which are often the cause of a physical manifestation such as illness or pain. It is dramatically different from conventional therapy practices and that is why it often works where nothing else will.
Important note: While EFT has produced remarkable clinical results, it must still be considered to be in the experimental stage and thus practitioners and the public must take complete responsibility for their use of it. Further, Elizabeth is not a licensed health professional and offers EFT and all other methods on this website as therapist and as a personal performance coach. Please consult qualified health practitioners regarding your use of anything on this website.
